A BB gun incident caused some tense moments at a Saskatoon high school on Thursday afternoon.
Around 12:45 p.m. police and school resource officers attended to a high school near the Shaw Centre for a reported assault on a student.
Police say a 13-year-old boy and 15-year-old boy allegedly assaulted a 15-year-old student, then shot him in the leg with a BB gun before fleeing.
The teens, who were not students at the school have been identified, but as of Friday morning had not been located.
Once in police custody, the suspects will each face assault and five weapon related charges. It’s also expected the 13-year-old will be charged with breach of a court order.
The student was not seriously hurt.
