Two people face multiple charges after a woman was allegedly forcibly injected with what is believed to be meth.
RCMP responded to a call on Tuesday, about an assault with a weapon at a home in Stanley Mission.
When police arrived, RCMP say there was a 19-year-old woman in medical distress. She was taken to hospital in La Ronge and released the next day. The woman was reportedly forcibly injected with what was believed to be methamphetamine, according to RCMP.
A 41-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were arrested at the scene and several intravenous needles were seized from them.
Both appeared in court in Stanley Mission on Thursday.
The man remains in custody and is scheduled for a May 27 court date in La Ronge.
The woman was released from custody under several conditions and is set to appear in court in Stanley Mission on June 9.
