Saskatchewan now has its eleventh death of a person with COVID-19.
The resident in the North region was in their 70s.
As of Sunday, the province says Saskatchewan only gained one new case of COVID-19, located in Regina. The total number of COVID-19 cases increased to 646.
Two more people have recovered from the virus, bringing the provincial total to 582.
There are currently four people in the hospital, with one person in intensive care in Saskatoon.
The active case count sits at 53 as of Sunday.
To date, Saskatchewan has performed 47,824 COVID-19 tests.
The province also announced possible COVID-19 transmission in North Battleford, located at Walmart Sunday morning.
