11:00 – The Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan is highlighting some of the issues with telecom service in rural Saskatchewan. In their survey, 75% of respondents expressed dissatisfaction with current service levels, while just 18% said they were satisfied. Satisfaction was slightly higher for mobile service, but 63% still said they weren’t satisfied. APAS President Todd Lewis says connectivity can potentially mean the difference between life and death should an accident occur in a rural area, and he joins Gormley to discuss the issues and what improvements he’d like to see.
