A 23-year-old man is facing a list of charges after police say they spotted him walking down the street with a large knife strapped to his chest.
According to Regina police, officers spotted the man on Saturday walking on Fifth Avenue west of Albert Street. They saw a large knife in a sheath strapped to his chest with his backpack.
The officers stopped the man and found he was on probation with orders to not have any weapons.
They took him away and later searched his backpack when he was in detention. Officers say they found zip guns, gun parts, ammunition, tools and drugs.
The man was arrested and is facing 10 charges, including carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm, and drug possession.
