Environment Canada is confirming a third tornado touched down in southwest Saskatchewan on Sunday.
In a tweet shared Sunday afternoon, Environment Canada released more information on the “cyclical tornadic supercell.”
Three tornadoes have been confirmed by ECCC from the July 4 severe #skstorm in the south (see storm track).
ECCC is seeking info about these storms including reports about damage these tornadoes may have caused.

The first tornado touched down near Glenbain at 4:30 p.m., with no damage reported.
The second touched down just ten minutes after the first near Kincaid. It caused damage to a home and farm property, which is still being investigated.
The third tornado hit the ground just before 6:30 p.m. near Assiniboia, with no damage reported.
The storm assessments are considered preliminary and may be changed if more information becomes available.
Softball-sized hail was also reported in the area of the intense storms, with many farmers saying on social media their crops were damaged.
