A 28-year-old Regina man is facing charges after a vehicle was driven off the lot of an Albert Street car dealership Thursday.
The Regina Police Service says it was contacted about the incident by the dealership’s staff just after 4 p.m.
A little over an hour later, officers saw the vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Argyle Street and arrested the lone male occupant.
“The male was in possession of the keys to the vehicle; the key had the dealership tag still attached,” the police said in a media release.
The man was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, and failing to comply with a probation order.
He made his first court appearance Friday.
