The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is asking people who went to two different Midtown Plaza stores to self-monitor for symptoms after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
A public health alert sent Friday evening said an employee who worked at both Garage and Soft Moc did so while they were likely infectious with the coronavirus.
The warning is for people who attended:
- Soft Moc on July 10 and 11 between 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
- Garage on July 12 between 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The SHA noted the warning for Midtown Plaza was a precaution, as generally businesses have been compliant with provincial COVID-19 regulations.
The health authority is asking anyone who attended the stores on the affected days to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days following their visits.
Anyone who develops symptoms is encouraged to immediately call 8-1-1 and self-isolate.
A referral for a COVID-19 test can be requested by calling the number by anyone, after the province moved to universal testing.
