The Regina Folk Festival is showing people how to throw a socially-distanced musical performance on their own property.
Organizers have made their manual for hosting shows available to download for free on the festival website.
Hard copies will be included when people buy an All Ages Kids Pack or a Festival Enhancement Pack, a bag of goods from sponsors and community partners.
Those who buy the package, enter on the website or share their concert setup on Instagram with the hashtag #DIYRFF will be entered to win “The Ultimate Festival Enhancement Package,” which includes more than $800 worth of merchandise and a socially-distanced performance by a mystery guest.
From Aug. 14-16, the festival will also be hosting drive-in concerts in the east parking lot of the Conexus Arts Centre.
Local acts will perform two shows each day.
More details are expected to come next Tuesday.
