A 24-year-old Regina man faces several charges, including assault with a weapon and drug possession, after an incident in the north end of the city.
Police were called to an apartment on Kleisinger Crescent on Thursday morning, after hearing about a man armed with a large knife.
They were told the man threatened one person and then chased another toward a business near Ninth Avenue North and Broad Street.
Officers arrested the man at a nearby mall, finding a shotgun shell, knife and what appeared to be fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Police say they also found a backpack nearby with a gun inside.
