A 32-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant is facing drug-related charges after an incident in Swift Current Monday morning.
RCMP located suspect Jordan Marleau at a home on the 300 block of Cowie Crescent.
Police said an initial investigation suggested guns were possibly in the home.
The RCMP Emergency Response Team was sent out. Surrounding roads were blocked and people were evacuated from an apartment building as a precaution.
At 4:35 p.m., police said a man and woman were arrested without incident as they left the home.
Three hours later, Marleau was arrested inside the home without incident. No guns were fired.
Marleau faces several drug-related charges from an incident in Swift Current on Dec. 21, 2016.
Eighteen-year-old Nicholas Neufeld and 22-year-old Courtney Hill were arrested and both charged with obstructing a police officer. Both appeared in court Tuesday.
