Council retroactively slashed $1.33 million in rent owed by the Roughriders.
Golf season in Regina is set to end earlier than anticipated.
The City of Regina previously said some of its courses would remain open until Oct. 26. On Friday, the city changed that plan due to the weather forecast for the area.
With snow and low temperatures expected, all of the city-operated golf courses will close for the season effective Monday.
The change affects the Murray Golf Course as well as the Tor Hill Golf Course’s North 9 and West 9, all of which were scheduled to be open until Oct. 26.
The Lakeview Par 3 closed for the season Tuesday and the Joanne Goulet Golf Course and the Tor Hill’s East 9 already were slated to shut down Monday.
