Regina police are asking for the public’s assistance after a woman says her purse was stolen Tuesday.
Police said they were dispatched to the 3400 block of 5th Avenue at about 2:20 p.m.
A 22-year-old woman said she was on 5th Avenue by Cameron when two females walked towards her from the direction of Elphinstone Street.
The victim was walking in the same direction and passed the pair. The victim says she was verbally harassed and pushed by one of the women.
The woman said the suspect took her purse, a set of keys and a set of specialized earplugs used by the victim for her disability.
The suspect is described as a woman between 45 and 55 years old, Aboriginal, thin build, about 120 pounds and was wearing a grey/black and purple jacket. The suspect is also described as having decayed teeth.
