High school athletes in Regina will have to wait longer to play winter sports.
The Regina High Schools Athletics Association (RHSAA) sent out a Tweet on Saturday saying school divisions are delaying the start of winter sports until January, 2021.
Winter sports include badminton, basketball, curling, hockey, track and field, and wrestling.
The RHSAA said schools want all students and staff to remain as safe as possible and more information should be known by mid December.
In September, school divisions cancelled all fall interschool sports.
The RHSAA represents the Regina Catholic School Division, Regina Public Schools, Luther College, Huda School, Ecole Laval, Regina Christian School and Harvest City Christian Academy.
