8:30 – Tuesday was a bad day for COVID-19 numbers in Saskatchewan, as the province added its second-highest daily case count. The 240 new cases pushed our active case count above 2,000 for the first time, and the province responded with strict new measures and recommendations aimed at stopping the spread. Premier Scott Moe joins Gormley to discuss the new measures, and what people of Saskatchewan can expect over the coming days.

12:00 – Lab-grown diamonds offer a larger rock for a lower price than traditional mined diamonds, and the trend is taking off in the jewel industry. The technology turns carbon atoms into a diamond under intense heat and pressure, and the results can be graded according to the “four Cs” of diamond quality just like a mined stone. Kent Heinrichs, of Heinrichs Jewellery, says the only difference between his line of Swarovski Created Diamonds and mined diamonds is their origin, and he joins Gormley to tell us more.
