Murray Wood: It's time to pull over reckless people on scooters, bikes
Murray Wood says he's had too many close calls with people on scooters, bikes and skateboards. But he's never seen them ...
Regina Fire and Protective Services will be trying to learn what caused a fire in a vacant house near Robinson Street and First Avenue.
Crews were called to the area Sunday night just before midnight. When they arrived, the house was fully involved.
Deputy Chief Neil Sundeen said the house had caught fire before and had been boarded up since September.
As it was not safe for firefighters to enter the building, they hosed it down from outside, he said.
Firefighters have since brought the blaze under control.
Sundeen said investigators will return to the scene but in the meantime, described the cause of the fire as “concerning.”
