Lumsden Lynx hosts Female Hockey Day to celebrate young women and girls in sports

The day-long event welcomes over 250 female hockey players from ages four to 22.
Regina police are investigating an incident involving gun shots fired in the Regent Park neighbourhood.
Officers were called to the 400 block of York Street around 4:32 a.m. Saturday for a report of a weapons offence.
The investigation indicated shots were fired at a house. Police obtained a vehicle description, and did a thorough search of the area, but the vehicle was not found. Further investigation found evidence including a bullet, along with holes through one of the home’s windows.
No one was injured.
