More adult players are now investing in the protective equipment.
Starting June 1, you’ll no longer be able to pay your SaskPower bill at their cash counters.
The company announced in a news release Tuesday it will be closing its four cash counters in North Battleford, Regina, Saskatoon and Yorkton this summer.
The nine employees who currently work at these locations will begin serving customers over the phone and respond to questions through the website. They will also continue to process payments.
“Our customers’ habits have changed significantly over the last 10 years,” said Diane Avery, SaskPower vice-president of customer services, in a news release.
“This shift will allow us to keep wait times low, as most of our customers now prefer to handle their transactions electronically or over the phone.”
SaskPower said eight per cent of bill payments are handled at its cash counters.
Customers can pay bills by signing up for an online account at the SaskPower website or a financial institution.
SaskPower said they will continue to maintain operation centres within the four communities to address outages and grid maintenance, as well as keep the cash counter at the Prince Albert location.
