A second-degree murder charge laid in the death of 57-year-old Charles Francis Letendre of Nipawin, Sask.
Letendre was found dead inside a 1st Avenue home in Nipawin Jan. 4.
An autopsy was performed in Saskatoon soon after and confirmed the death was suspicious.
On Tuesday RCMP announced they had charged 32-year-old Danny Brian Crate, also of Nipawin in connection.
RCMP said in a release that the two men knew each other and they are not looking for anymore suspects.
Crate appeared in Melfort Provincial Court Tuesday and was remanded into custody until his next court date, scheduled for Feb. 8 in Nipawin.
Nipawin is located around 140 kilometres east of Prince Albert.
