As Regina Public Schools prepares to move all its students to online learning, three elementary schools have reported one new case each of COVID-19 within their walls.
In media releases Tuesday, RPS informed the public that the Saskatchewan Health Authority has received positive COVID tests in individuals at George Lee School in the northwest, and W.S. Hawrylak School and W.F. Ready School in the southeast. The impacted classes will move to remote learning on Thursday, but all three schools will remain open.
The school division adds it has informed all close contacts of the people who tested positive.
The RPS announced Monday that all students in Regina will move to remote learning for an extra two weeks before and after the holiday break. That means kids will be learning from home between next Monday and Jan. 11.
