Police in Regina are reaching out to residents for help tracking down whoever is responsible for a string of bus shelter vandalism.
In a media release issued Thursday, the Regina Police Service (RPS) says there have been 29 cases of someone smashing the glass at bus shelters throughout the city. All have taken place over the last two weeks, with dates and location as follows:
The RPS notes that this kind of damage comes with a cost to taxpayers, and hurts transit users who rely on the shelters to stay warm during the winter.
Anyone with information that could help the police track down suspects is asked to call the RPS at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
