Students may have moved to remote learning, but Regina’s two largest school divisions are still alerting the public about COVID-19 cases that have been identified since the kids went home.
On Tuesday, Regina Public Schools issued a media release saying there had been cases at Winston Knoll Collegiate, Martin Collegiate and George Lee School.
All close contacts of the individuals were given information about self-isolation and further details were included in letters that were sent to families Tuesday.
That same procedure was followed Monday, when the school division said there had been cases at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate, Campbell Collegiate and Ruth Pawson School.
Also Monday, the Regina Catholic School Division said there had been two cases at Ecole St. Angela Merici.
Families with students in the two impacted classrooms were called and given details about self-isolation.
Remote learning at Regina schools started Monday and will continue this week before the Christmas break begins. Students in both school divisions will learn from home the week of Jan. 4-8, with in-person learning set to resume Jan. 11.
