$17,000 worth of illegal cigarettes, illicit marijuana, and firearms are off the street, after an arrest last week by the Moose Jaw Police Service.
The Moose Jaw Police Service Patrol, Criminal Investigation, and K9 Unit executed a search warrant in the RM of Moose Jaw on December 8, regarding an ongoing investigation into the acquisition, possession, and distribution of illegal and unstamped tobacco and cigarettes in/near Moose Jaw.
During the search, police discovered approximately 34,000 illegal cigarettes, about 900 grams of illicit marijuana, four firearms, and over $6000.00 in cash.
A number of Criminal Code of Canada charges have been laid against a man, who was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear back in court on February 8th.
Police continue to investigate.
