One man is in hospital after a shooting in Regina’s south end Thursday night.
Police were called to Deergrove Crescent around 8:15 p.m. after someone reported gunshots and witnessed an apparent altercation at a home on the crescent.
Another caller from the 900 block of Shannon Road informed police a man had been shot.
Police located a 22-year-old man with what looked like gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. As of Friday morning, he remained in hospital.
Officers went to the residence on Deergrove Crescent where they said they found evidence of an altercation. Those inside the house were interviewed. Police said the investigation is in its early stages.
