Regina police are investigating the city’s first murder of 2021.
Officers found a woman with serious gunshot wounds in the north-central area Saturday morning.
In a news release late Saturday night, it was revealed that the woman died after being taken to hospital.
At the time of the release, officers still had traffic restrictions set up in the area around the 700 block of Athol Street while they investigated.
There is still no word on a suspect.
