The Regina Police Service issued a public advisory Thursday that a convicted sex offender has moved into the North Central neighbourhood, where he’s to live under supervision.
In a media release, police said 29-year-old Christopher Jacob Boerma moved into the area Monday.
He’s considered a high risk to reoffend. His criminal history includes sexual offences and he has a history of reoffending.
“During his time of incarceration, he has never completed programming designated to address his risk factors,” the police release said.
Boerma is described as Caucasian, 6-foot-6 and about 190 pounds, with short, blonde curly hair, blue eyes, light facial hair including a goatee, and crooked, irregular teeth.
Boerma is subject to conditions of supervision until Feb. 1, 2023. He must abide by a number of conditions while living in Regina.
