The Family Day long weekend scaled back the details available in Monday’s COVID update.
In a news release, the Ministry of Health reported 143 new cases of the virus, but no data was available on locations, recoveries, deaths or the total active case numbers.
“Due to the Family Day statutory holiday, news release detail and dashboard are not available today. Case detail for today will be included in tomorrow’s information update,” the release said.
However, there is a small amount of new information.
There are 183 people in hospital with the virus. Of those, 161 are receiving inpatient care and 22 are in the ICU.
The total number of vaccines administered in the province grew to 49,809, thanks to 164 new doses being given. Those shots were delivered in the north-central (153) and far north-central (11) areas.
There were 2,254 tests processed Sunday, raising that total so far to 545,840.
