Michael Tokarz is joining a pretty exclusive club. He’s one of just 15 people to win a Vault Breaker jackpot in Saskatchewan since 2017.
On February 12 all five icons fell into place while he was playing a VLT at Sports on Tap in Saskatoon.
Tokarz won the $1,182,437.43 Vault Breaker jackpot.
“I hugged my wife, she was playing nearby, and thought ‘I’m getting a new workshop!’,” he said in a media release from Western Canada Lottery Corporation.
Once the COVID-19 pandemic is over, Tokarz hopes to book a vacation too.
Vault Breaker is a progressive that links 4,200 VLTs in 270 Saskatchewan communities.
With the win the jackpot resets to $500,000.
