Close contacts have been told of the positive case. The school in the Uplands area of the city is to stay open, but affected students will begin learning remotely.
Later Tuesday, the Regina Catholic School Division said a case had been reported at Ecole St. Pius X, resulting in the closure of a classroom at the Lakeview area school until March 18.
Students in the closed classroom are to learn remotely during the self-isolation period, while the rest of the school stays open.
