Health Canada has issued an advisory about a recall affecting certain models of Britax baby strollers sold in Canada between May 1, 2011 and Feb. 15, 2017.
All Britax B-Agile and BOB Mobile-type strollers are being recalled due to an issue with their ‘Click & Go’ mounting system that attaches the car seat carrier to the stroller frame.
The mount issue can cause the seat to detach from the frame unexpectedly. The company got 118 reports of incidents in Canada. One of those incidents saw a child get a bump on the head.
In the U.S., there were 25 reports of children getting scratches, bruises, bumps or cuts.
Health Canada estimated 36,000 of the strollers have been sold across Canada.
A full list of models affected by the recall can be found on the Health Canada website.
