Regina police deployed a Taser on a 34-year-old woman after she threatened to harm herself on Friday morning.
Around 2:30 a.m., police were dispatched to a home on the 7000 block of Dagliesh Drive for a report of a woman causing a disturbance.
Police said officers arrived and found the woman under the backyard deck, refusing to come out. After several minutes of attempted negotiation by the police, the woman reportedly put a bladed weapon to her neck, prompting police to use a Taser.
Police said the woman dropped the weapon and police removed her from underneath the deck. She was taken into custody and transported to hospital.
