RCMP are looking for two people from Lloydminster, Alta after they ran from police trying to arrest them.
On Feb. 17, officers went to an apartment complex on 51st Avenue to arrest Kenneth Wayne Curtis, 28, and Candice Melissa Harvey, 32, in connection with several vehicle thefts. Shortly after police arrived, the two fled with a dog.
Police believe the two are in Alberta and could be in or around Fort Saskatchewan, Stony Plain, or Edmonton.
The pair are believed to be traveling in one of two dodge trucks stolen from a Lashburn, Sask business, just southeast of Lloydminster. One is a 2014 white Dodge Ram 2500 with the Saskatchewan plate number 898 JHZ, while the other is a 2007 grey Dodge Ram 3500 with the license plate number 454 FWM.
Both trucks have oil field equipment in them and “Scorpion Oil Field Services” decals on the windows.
Police do not believe Curtis or Harvey are a risk to the public. Both face several theft charges.
