McDonald’s lovers no longer have to get to the restaurant before 11 a.m. to enjoy breakfast.
The world’s largest restaurant chain started serving all-day breakfast across Canada Tuesday.
“At 11:01 a.m. everyone was ordering egg McMuffins,” said Jessiely Lazaro, community relations director with McDonald’s in Saskatoon.
“We had a really busy lunch hour.”
While the entire breakfast menu isn’t available all-day, customers can pick up favourites such as the sausage and bacon egg McMuffins, hot cakes and hash browns.
Lazaro said it didn’t take much to prepare their locations for the change.
“It wasn’t that difficult,” she said. “We just had to make sure to train our staff to do both.”
