A grocery store in Moose Jaw has had multiple employees test positive for COVID-19.
Loblaw Companies, the parent company of Superstore, has confirmed to 980 CJME in an email that at least three employees have tested positive since the beginning of April.
“We currently have three active cases located at the Real Canadian Superstore located at 30 Thatcher Drive East in Moose Jaw positive for COVID-19,” the email read.
“We have been working with the local public health team and have taken a number of steps to minimize risk, including increased sanitization protocols and enforcing social distancing practices in the store as well as the store arranging for additional cleaning.
“The majority of these cases will be resolved this week, with the last days worked being April 2 and 7.”
The email added staff members who worked closely with those that were infected are now at home in self-isolation monitoring for any symptoms.
Loblaw didn’t provide any other information.
