More Saskatchewan residents are becoming eligible to get COVID-19 vaccinations.
As of Friday at 8 a.m., anyone 48 and over can book an appointment online or by phone at 1-833-727-5829. As of Thursday, only those 52 and over were eligible to book online.
As well, age restrictions at all of the drive-through and walk-in vaccination clinics are changing.
As of Thursday afternoon, all of those clinics (except the drive-through in Regina) are to accept patients aged 51 to 54. Previously, only those 52 to 54 were eligible.
Then, starting Friday, all of the drive-through clinics will expand eligibility to those between the ages of 48 and 54.
Things also are changing at the clinic at Regina’s Evraz Place, which on Thursday was accepting those aged 47 to 54. Starting Friday morning, it will start immunizing those aged 46 to 54.
More details on the drive-through and walk-in sites can be found here.
All of the drive-through clinics are first come, first served.
