The Regina Police Service’s drug unit took more than two kilograms of meth off the streets during a bust Saturday.
According to police, the drug unit executed three search warrants — one on an Airbnb in the Harbour Landing area of the city, one on a downtown hotel room and one on a vehicle.
Approximately 2,000 grams of methamphetamine, 250 grams of fentanyl, 200 grams of cocaine, $41,000 in cash, multiple cellphones, digital scales and other materials associated with drug trafficking were seized.
A 36-year-old man from Saskatoon and a 23-year-old man from Winnipeg were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine and possessing proceeds of crime over $5,000.
