8:30 – Saskatchewan will start administering second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine this month, with those 85 and older eligible for their second shot on May 17 if they received their first shot prior to Feb. 15. On that same day, children ages 12 and up will be able to enter the queue for their first doses. 12:00 – Viterra is planning to construct the world’s largest integrated canola crush facility in Regina, with a projected annual capacity of 2.5 million metric tonnes. The demand for oilseed crush is expected to increase, due to demand for use as food, animal feed, and renewable fuel production. Kyle Jeworsky, CEO of Viterra North America, joins Gormley to tell us more.
