30 – The Trudeau government in Ottawa is pushing to end the study of Bill C-10, despite significant free speech concerns raised by experts and the Opposition. The Liberals put a time allocation in place for the bill on Friday, a tactic which is typically used to limit hours of debate in the House, not at committees. MP Rachel Harder is the Conservative critic for digital government, and she joins Gormley to share her concerns around C-10.

00 – The Hour of the Big Stories… Open Session
00 – Columnist Barbara Kay and performance coach Linda Blade have teamed up on a new book tackling the issue of transgender politics in sport. While everybody wants to be inclusive, is it really fair for those born as male to compete alongside biological women? That’s the question explored in ‘Unsporting: How Trans Activism and Science Denial are Destroying Sport,’ and the authors join Gormley to tell us more.

45 – There are more than 4,000 charities active around Saskatchewan, and we’re embarking on a new project to feature some of the great people doing great work in this province during a brand-new segment we like to call “The Best of Saskatchewan.” In this week’s feature, we’ll catch up with Bernadette Mysko, president of the ALS Society of Saskatchewan. June is ALS Awareness Month, and this year the Saskatchewan ALS Society is celebrating 40 years of serving our province.

00 – As we grow closer to Father’s Day on June 18, the Canadian Cancer Society wants to help raise awareness and show support for the men in Canada who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, a figure as high as one in nine. The initiative will see men dressed in “Plaid for Dad” as they encourage others to get tested and talk openly about men’s health. Robin Speer is the Saskatchewan ambassador for Plaid for Dad, and he joins Gormley to tell us how you can get involved.
