It has been two years since the SJHL’s Canalta Cup was last awarded.
But the league now has a start date for 2021, along with approval for puck drop for the league on Sept. 24.
On Tuesday morning, the league announced it and all 12 teams will resume league play for the 2021-22 season after a COVID-related hiatus.
The pre-game tape jobs.
The pump up songs.
The stacks of pucks hitting the ice for warm ups.
No one does hype like hockey.
But, the hype is only worth it, if what comes next feels just as good.
It's time. Let's drop the puck.
