The cheers of 15,000 kids will be heard at Sasktel Centre Wednesday as We Day returns to Saskatchewan.
We Day is a global educational event that helps to inspire youth to lead change locally and globally through acts of community service.
Kids from over 400 schools were challenged to find a local or global charity and volunteer their time to get a pass to the event.
Last year, schools and groups volunteered over 261,000 hours and raised more than $734,000 in support of causes taking on bullying, poverty, homelessness and the environment.
This year’s lineup of speakers and performers features Margaret Trudeau, country musician Brett Kissel and singer Jully Black.
