Canada West football is to return Sept. 25.
The University of Regina Rams and University of Saskatchewan Huskies announced Monday their schedules for the 2021 season — their first campaign since the 2019 season. The 2020 slate was cancelled due to COVID-19.
On Sept. 25, the Rams are to visit the Manitoba Bisons in Winnipeg and the Huskies are to face the host Calgary Dinos.
On Oct. 1, Saskatchewan is to travel to Vancouver to take on the UBC Thunderbirds. The following day, the Rams are to play host to Calgary.
After a bye week, Regina is to entertain the T-Birds and the Huskies are to play the visiting Alberta Golden Bears on Oct. 16.
On Oct. 23, the interprovincial rivals are to meet in Saskatoon.
The following week, Regina is to be at Alberta and the Huskies are to visit the Bisons.
The regular season is to wrap up Nov. 6, with Manitoba visiting Regina and Calgary travelling to Saskatoon.
The top four teams will make the playoffs, with semifinals set for the Nov. 13 weekend and the Hardy Cup conference final slated for Nov. 20.
