RCMP are on the hunt for cattle rustlers after calves were allegedly stolen from a ranch near Ormiston, around 83 kilometres south of Moose Jaw.
Police said the theft happened around 3:30 a.m. on March 16. A rancher allegedly saw two people stealing calves from his pasture.
Police said the rancher also saw a dark-coloured Ford truck, with an extended cab, parked along a nearby grid road. The truck reportedly headed westbound when they saw the rancher approaching.
Police said the rancher followed the truck as far as Highway 36.
RCMP reported three calves, all three to seven-days-old, were stolen. Police said one man and one woman appeared to be involved in the theft.
