A Weyburn woman has been arrested for a big haul of allegedly illegal tobacco.
Police in that city said in a news release Friday that they found over 55,000 cigarettes, 3,000 cigarillos and 47 tins of chewing tobacco during a Wednesday traffic stop.
They also seized the vehicle, a 2008 Jeep Cherokee.
All together, the property police took was worth more than $31,865.
According to police, the 37-year-old suspect faces a fine of up to $50,000 and up to five years in prison if convicted.
