Canada’s largest producer of natural gas has donated a multi-year million-dollar donation to STARS.
Tourmaline Oil Corporation donated the $1 million gift to support STARS’ operations across Western Canada. Spread over the next five years, the donation will support missions flown from six STARS bases.
The donation is also expected to benefit municipal bodies.
STARS president and CEO Andrea Robertson was grateful for the donation.
“We truly could not be there for the next patient who needs critical care across Western Canada without the steadfast support of donors like Tourmaline. This commitment will enable STARS to continue fighting for the lives of patients when they need us most.”
“We’re excited to support STARS and ensure the highest level of critical care is available to people when they need it most,” said Michael Rose, president and CEO of Tourmaline.
“Our investment in STARS furthers our commitment to protecting the health and safety of our employees, contractors and everyone who lives in and around our operations.”
“Like STARS, Tourmaline values the health and safety of the communities in which it operates and serves, and we are so grateful for this generosity,” Robertson added.
