Regina police are searching for the gunman behind a shooting early Wednesday night.
According to a news release, they found a young man with a gunshot wound inside a home near Robinson Street and Fifth Avenue.
Police say the 19-year-old was walking in the area when he was approached by somebody with a gun demanding money.
The man was shot by his assailant, who fled, police say. The victim was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect was described as Indigenous, 5-foot-10, with tattoos under his eyes and wearing a purple Toronto Raptors hat.
