Former diplomat Colin Robertson, an expert in US/Canada relations, says the big issues on the table will be border management, migration, and protectionism, and the leaders need to ensure the meetings go further than well-meaning pledges and photo ops. 10:30 – According to research by Dr. Haissam Haddad and the University of Saskatchewan cardiovascular working group, heart attack patients in Saskatchewan are experiencing longer recovery times, worse overall outcomes, and more deaths. Haddad says some patients delayed seeking treatment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to more complications. Dr. Haddad joins Gormley to tell us more about the issue, and what steps he’d like to see taken to improve the outcomes for cardiac patients in Saskatchewan.
