On December 14, 2021, Kamsack RCMP located and arrested Donovan Oochoo at a residence on The Key First Nation, which is approximately 200 kilometres northeast of Muskowekwan First Nation.
Oochoo will appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on December 15, 2021.
Punnichy RCMP are looking for a man after a fight led to someone being shot.
On Sunday, shortly after midnight, police say they got a call that a gun had been fired on Muskowekwan First Nation.
After further investigation, officers determined two men were involved in an “altercation,” which led to one of the men being shot. The victim is being treated in hospital with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, police are charging Donovan Oochoo of the First Nation with attempted murder, discharging a gun with intent and two counts of possessing a gun while prohibited from doing so.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest and RCMP are actively trying to locate him.
Oochoo is described as 5-foot-11 and 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
