Classes at Regina public high schools aren’t the only ones shifting to remote learning.
In an update Tuesday afternoon, Regina Public Schools announced eight classes at seven of its elementary schools will be going online starting Wednesday due to COVID-19.
The affected classes are:
- Grade 7-8 A classroom at W.F. Ready School;
- Grade 7-8 classroom at Albert Community School;
- Grade 4 classroom at Ecole Massey School;
- Kindergarten A classroom at Ecole W.S. Hawrylak School
- Grades 4A and 7-8 B classrooms at McLurg School;
- Grade 6-7 classroom at W.H. Ford School; and,
- Grade 2 French Immersion at Ecole Wascana Plains School.
Students in all of those classrooms are slated to return to school Jan. 31 if they’re symptom-free.
As well, the Regina Huda School reported two classes have moved to remote learning due to the number of cases at that facility.
Regina Public Schools said cases had been reported at 30 of its facilities: Albert, Arcola, Henry Braun, Judge Bryant, Connaught, Douglas Park, Dr. George Ferguson, Dr. L.M. Hanna, Glen Elm, Harbour Landing, Henry Janzen, Kitchener, Lakeview, George Lee, Gladys McDonald, MacNeill, Ethel Milliken, Elsie Mironuck, Ruth Pawson, Plainsview, Wilfrid Walker, Walker and Wascana Plains elementary schools; Balfour, Campbell, Johnson, Winston Knoll, Scott and Sheldon-Williams collegiates; and, Campus Regina Public.
