Concerns about COVID-19 are sending students in four more Regina classrooms online.
Regina Public Schools said Tuesday that the Grade 5-6 B and Grade 6 A classrooms at McLurg School, the Grade 3-4 room at Ecole Wilfrid Walker, and the Grade 5-6 A class at Grant Road School will move to remote instruction Wednesday.
In-person learning for those students is to resume Feb. 7 if they’re not exhibiting symptoms.
The division reported cases also had been detected at Albert, Arcola, Ruth M. Buck, Centennial, Connaught, Coronation Park, Douglas Park, Dr. George Ferguson, Dr. L.M. Hanna, Harbour Landing, W.S. Hawrylak, Henry Janzen, Kitchener, George Lee, Massey, Jack MacKenzie, McDermid, Gladys McDonald, Marion McVeety, Ethel Milliken, Elsie Mironuck, Ruth Pawson, Dr. A.E. Perry, Plainsview, W.F. Ready, Thomson, Walker and Wascana Plains elementary schools, and at Balfour, Campbell and Johnson collegiates.
The Regina Catholic School Division sent letters to families about positive cases at Deshaye, Holy Rosary, St. Angela, St. Augustine, St. Bernadette, St. Catherine, St. Dominic, St. Elizabeth, St. Francis, St. Gabriel, St. Gregory, St. Jerome, St. Joan of Arc, St. Josaphat, St. Kateri, St. Marguerite, St. Nicholas, St. Pius and St. Timothy elementary schools, and at LeBoldus, Miller, O’Neill and Riffel high schools.
