Saskatoon police have charged a 36-year-old man with drug and firearm-related offences after a break and enter.
Police were called to a home on the 1600 block of Cairns Avenue around 11:55 p.m. Friday for a break and enter of a detached garage.
The suspect ran before officers arrived but was found close by with the help of the canine unit.
A search of the man turned up a loaded automatic 7.65 millimetre Skorpion machine pistol, a switch blade and crystal methamphetamine.
He’s expected to appear before a Justice of the Peace Saturday.
